Today is the day we’ve al been waiting for. The judgement day. The day when all our efforts will be tested. After school, we went for the auditorium. We changed into our costumes and did some warm up run. Then our drama t shirt came. THE T SHIRT SUCK! The bloody supplier! Huh! Anyways, as we waited down the office ready for take off, we found out that the bus didn’t get our message that we are suppose to be going earlier! So we had to wait for half an hour before boarding. Then on the bus we were like “LET’S GET IT STARTED IN HERE!!!” we’re suppose to get into character but we were like partying on the bus. Then we called Renée. Let her talk to everyone then encouraged us and gaves us advice and all that. Then on the bus we practised our projection, lines, got into character [without mp3 on our ears] just like what Renée said. When we reached our destination [until now I still duno wad school we performed in, someone enlighten me] we were led on the library [we performed in the library!] and we had a black and yellow platform [it wasn’t actually a platform, It was some checkered flooring] the judges were sitting in couches [about 5 of them lah]. We set up our stage and our S.M. [kernard] count down: 3…2…1… ACTION. And the play just flowed. It was fantastic. Charmaine was so energetic men! Nafizah did well at her projection. Rat was more bitchy than usual in the 3rd scene. [Sorry rat...] and AH LONG really looked like AH KONG. Nazri was HOT! Raizal and mel looked sweet [aawwww] izwan was more crazy than usual in the fire scene. Ian was superb [[he cried… emo saeh… hope he doesn’t see this post]. I have to applaud the crew, if it wasn’t for their reliability and swiftness, the show would’ve went down. They were dependable and responsible. I mean I was like “where’s my hat?! Where’s my lantern?! Where’s my costume!?” and they were always running towards me with my hat, searching all over for the lantern, folding up my costume. I mean we’re nothing without the crew. To elsa, sha, delvin and adibah: fantastic job. And not but not the least: to kernard [s.m.] and galvin [a.s.m.] the whole drama club was in your hands, and you handled us competently. I’m impressed that a sec 1 could handle such a responsibility and to galvin too, a very wonderful job. Well to prove that, the judges were like laughing away during the play. After that, we went home. We were singing in the bus. We were cheering each others name [including Renée’s] we rocked the bus man! That was one of the most memorable bus rides I had .I think we all did our job and that is all that matters. We reached school at last. Tired and worn out. We packed out bags and arranged the props. Before going home, we said thank you to ms yee and ms ng in chorus. We may win, which I sincerely believe we will. we may lose, but will have no doubts on what we had done. Stand tall drama. Cross your fingers guys [let your fingers stay like that until Monday] on Monday is the moment of truth. [I think we have a meeting after reap.]

A big THANKS to ms yee; the person who fought for us with all her might, who lifted us to a certain altitude that we couldn’t reach without her help, the one who believed in us from the start. She is our strength and pride. To Renée, the person who had tolerated our crap and manipulated it into something enchanted. Her aesthetic aura drives us to push our limits. Forever inspiring, forever encouraging. To ms ng; who took care of us when no one was there. Who corrected our mistakes and praised our achievements who listened to us like no other. Thanks to these people, we are a step above all others.

One more thing… the shirt SUCK! ARGH!
